About Us
The purpose the site is to act as a reference for healthcare professionals and the general public. Specifically, the site aims to foster self-care among the public by educating them with regard to self-medication and by encouraging them to attend their pharmacy for advice about minor illnesses. Edited by Dr Martin Henman of TCD, the site also contains valuable information on the treatment of minor illnesses and the precautions to take in relation to self-medication.
GreenCross’s other titles include Irish Pharmacist, the oldest independent journal serving pharmacists and their staff. We also publish the only journal aimed exclusively at front of house pharmacy staff — Pharmacy Assistant.
In addition we publish Nursing in General Practice, an educational journal, on behalf of the Irish Practice Nurses Association.
